Train horn

Anyone have a train horn? and if so where did you get it, how many DB is it, how much did it cost, and was install easy? I am looking to get one, but not sure what one to get and what the cost will be, let me know, thank you!

I just ordered my train horns from Jason at http://www.groverairhorn.com/ They arrived in about a week.
12 gal. tank, dual compressors and Nathan K3LA horns

Hornblasters does have some cool videos. Check them out, they will crack you up.

Yes, Nathan Airchime M3's. Got them from a collector/trader. $250 many years ago, but as far as train horns go, you normally pay for the condition they're in. Install is easy if you have basic mechanical knowledge, and a compressor, lines, valve and a tank. You need to decide what they will be used for:scaring the crap out of people-which btw is an illegal use of a auto/truck mounted horn, or responsible use of a novelty item. Another BTW, any horn that is deemed to make an excessive amount of noise ie:train horns, barge horns, ship horns, snowplow horns, etc. can land you in jail quickly if use of them causes another motorist to crash. That includes them smashing into you. Wouldn't that be great? You blast 'em, they crash into you and you get charged and handed the repair bill for both vehicles. Sweet! Not.

What a buzz kill. Some people need the crap scared out of them.

Oh I agree. I'm not saying it shouldn't be done once in a while, but I don't recommend doing it near moving vehicles.

Hmmm.... If i had one id be doing it ALL the time and higly recommend others do the same.

Hornblasters is the ***** great place for horns and veryloud thought id share my set up. these are nathan p3s on half inch airline with an airzenith comressor also put a coupler on aswell for airtools.
