I have an '06 F150 XLT 4.6L Reg Cab w/ 6.5' in Silver. I got the Line-X bedliner sprayed in today and I get the Westin Platinum series Chome stepbars put on tomorrow. BUT now what I'm looking for is simply a honeycomb style bumper grille to match the factory grill. Now I know there is a "Lower Grille Accent Piece" available for a couple of vendors but I have been to the manufacturer's website and it only fits up to the '05. My truck hav ethe chrome bumpers and don't want a chrome bumper grille 'cause I would feel obligated to put a chrome grille on and that in too much chrome IMO. Anybody have any suggesstions?

EDIT: The consensus of my Ford driving buddies at work is wait to see if the same company makes one for the '06 that takes the change into account.

Maybe they can tell you what the plan is for the new style. In the meantime here's a cheap idea if it totally drives you nuts. Get some gutter guard from Home Depot and cut it to fit. I know it's a cheap idea but I used it on my Accord under the bumper behind the grile for rocks. It's black and should at least blur the view through the gap until the real deal is available.

 

I think I would just buy a carriage works bumper grille in black before I did that, but thanks for the link. I'm gonna give them a call Monday morning to see what they are planning.
