Hey, you guys and gals, it's been a while since I posted here...even forgot my old username so I had to reregister. However, the reason for my thread is that I would like to replace some of the lights in my '05 F150 with LEDs and was wondering if SuperBrightLeds would still be the best place to get 'em. The lights that I'm planning on replacing would be for the license plate markers and the interior cab and map lights.

Has anyone in this forum done this mod?

 

i replaced a bunch of my bulb lights with LEDs (tail, reverse, map, dome, and hood), and all but the interior ones were just not bright enough for me and i switched back to the bulbs. the interior lights on the other hand are great. the map lights can be turned on at night while driving and dont bother me at all.
i also replaced the bulb lights above the back window with LEDs and they are pretty nice as well; putting off a very distinct white light.
ive also seen LEDs used for panel lighting and its changes the color of the guages slightly, and i dont recomend it.
