installing a grill and surround?

I have a f-150 2002 supercrew fx4 and am going to take the stock grille and surround to put on a new grille and chrome surround. How do I take off the stock grille and surround ? How many bolts are there and those black plastic holders, do those also have to come off as well?

Remove the plastic trim panel covering the top of the grill assembly. Detach the headlight housing assemblies and remove from the vehicle. Remove the grill retaining screws located in the headlight openings. Remove the clips securing the lower half of the grill which are located in the center of the grill (upper and lower) about 6" back from the grill opening. The surround is attached with the plastic retaining plugs. I had to cut some. Others I was able to use needlenose pliers and pull them out to reuse them.
I may have forgotten something. Maybe someone else will have more details.
