Question Installation of Lightning Lights

Help… I would like to replace F150 2001 headlamps with SVT Lightning Headlamps. I would like some recommendations of installation i.e. Do and don’t, or should I take it to Ford dealer to install. Would this installation void my Ford extended warranty? I paid $225.00

As far as I have read on the Lightning board, you will NOT void any warranty. You're changing lights, not engines.
Furthermore, do it yourself. It's just an unbolt-bolt project.

Take some masking tape and tape off the part of the grill under the headlights. I didnt and scratched my truck under each light. The lights have three independent mounting screws. Trying to get them all lined up was frustrating. I didnt realize that I let the light assembly rest on the paint. I now have two under each light.
