Post lightning products

What are some online places that sell stuff for the 01L? The only place I can think of is www.fordpartsonline.com.

------------------
1997 XLT Teal 4.6L Flareside 4x4 ORP. Automatic, Reg. cab, 3.55LS, tinted windows, bug deflector, Dual exhaust, K&N Generation 2 air filter, BullDog keyless entry/remote start, Modern 16" wheels, bedliner, Covercraft tonneau cover, White faced gauges, electronic shift on the fly, Clarion ADX5655z Double Din Cassette & CD, 4 Pioneer TS-A6865 speakers and superchip.

Future mods: Supercharger, headers, NOS, tranny upgrade(heavy duty gears, clutch packs, etc.), performance torque converter, composite driveshaft, bore cylinders 30 over, new pistons, crank, and rods, get performance heads or port the ones I have, 01 tail lights, 01 mirrors, 01 3rd brake light, gauges for the a-pillar, new L if they still make them and I like the way it looks, and a Z06 Vette or BMW Z3.

Thumbs up

I picked up my L rear lights from www.oemfordparts.com about a month ago. Decent price and very good customer service.

Polarbear: Do you have access to the Harley-Davidson/F150 fender emblems? Ford is playing games with these - not only are they charging over $100 a piece, but NOW they want you to give the VIN off the HD truck. They try to gouge on the price and even when you're willing to pay the price they won't sell it to you. I'm getting ready to send off a letter to them. This is real arrogance as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks.

King James: When you do get these '01L parts, here's a tip for all '97& '98 F owners. When installing the headlights, you will have to reuse the headlight adjusting bracket in the '01 lights. You will notice that there are tabs to hold them, which are not needed on the newer models. I have a '97, and I had to do this. When installing them after this is done, make sure to leave the bulb and retaining ring on the assembly, since the opening is positioned over a little bit from yours. Also, make sure the tabs don't go in crooked, otherwise you will crack the assembly tabs on the aligning bracket. Take your time, and it'll look great! Good luck. P.S., I got mine through the dealer, and had to pay the higher cost after May 1 for the second lamp. Bummer.

Thank you for your offer. I think I am just going to get one of those billet 3rd brake light covers ( it's alot cheaper that way). Maybe in the future I can upgraded to the front heaplamps off a "L" or some other euro type headlamp. Right now they are just too damn much.

King James; In tabs, I mean the area where the aligning bracket gets attached. This would be the best way to describe them.

What are you looking for? I have Lightning parts available.

Here is the first Lightning upgrade I have installed. Next, I think I will add the grille. I can't stand the chrome (or the "Jimmy Carter smile"...

Send me some mail.
