You know, I thought about some PI emblems, cuz my truck kinda looks like it should be a cop truck for some reason. Not sure why, just looks like it to me. But, I don't want too much crap stuck on my truck
Thanks for all the compliments guys, and for those that don't like it, well....S-C-R-E-W Y-O-U!!! Just kidding, everyone is entitled to their opinions...even if they suck

I only put the PI emblems on the side because mine only has the F150 emblem (w/o XL,etc, or Triton). It really confuses the Ford Service techs! Doc

Dark lower panels are a really nice touch. Expect to see others going there, maybe with some variations.

Looks great! Did you use a different wax or is the lighting different? The finish looks much deeper and darker. Super slick!

The tails look great and the removal of the 4X4 decals add class, imo. Great Job!

Until somebody starts filling out the check to Ford Motor Credit out of their personal bank account, DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH IT!!!! Cmon L owners, cut some slack, at least it does not have "Lightning" on the fenders.

Question

When I get my ProGlass Shaker hood, I was thinking of having it painted black, but in the raised part of the center and the shaker scoop itself, painting the dark charcoal to match the new lower scheme. Same idea of the XTRUCKY's white/orange SuperCrew. Everyone seen that thing? Looks sweet. It would kind of bring the scheme together I think.
Just want opinions before I spend the money, because the black paint job on the new hood is free, but the charcoal would be about $75-$100.

Please, let me know what you all think.

Here's the SuperCrew I was referring too...

Looks great. Nice job...

The SVT emblems really aren't a big deal with us. Most(99%) don't know what SVT means anyway....

The "Lightning" emblems are a different story, for this reason.
Most people have never seen a Lightning but they have heard of them.

You'd be suprised how many people think mine is stock. For crying out loud, look at the mod list!!!

We'll just have to keep shrugging off the people who say that they've "smoked" a Lightning in there X-treme.... Or, what they "thought" was a Lightning.

Hey, we need to get together soon. We should have a Lightning meeting coming up. I'll let you know when.

Ok Rich, sounds good.

Yeah, I would never put Lightning emblems on my truck for that reason.

What do you all think about my hood idea?

The shaker hoods are sweeeeet....
I think you're on to something with the charcoal 2-tone.

Can't wait to see it.

Hey TampaSVT,
Have you seen the shaker hoods yet? I have been doing search after search, only to end up finding the 67 Shelby style ram air hood I looked at that one for a while
but it turns out you need the factory intake for it to work right,,NOT!!,lol. Your supposed to cut a hole in the factory airbox and attach this spout looking thing to it..... Didn't look good,or very professional. I want to see this HOOD ,,,,98

I painted everywhere that was silver before, the lighting was just bad..it was dusk. So, yes, there is charcoal under the rear step.
