Ok, my truck has 113,000 miles on it and has lots of little pits in the windsheild which, when the sun hits just right, makes it ugly as hell when looking out of it. Is there any type of polish or compund that can get rid of these or make them less visable?

There is a kit in JC Whitney that does this,but I'm not sure how well it works. It has cerium oxide which helps polish out wiper sratches and stuff like that. I don't know how well it will work on pits.
My E-150 had them so bad,I finally just replaced
the whole windshield,of course it had begun to crack anyway........98
