To answer the question about the clear lenses, the L lights look different. The on nice thing it that the corners have the amber reflector which is required. Not that clear are illegal, just that not having the reflector is. The light bulb itself is OK in some states according to some. They even say it's legal in Texas, but again, it is for the parking lights, but the turn signals have to be amber.

So, what does all that mean, not much because most peple aren't having any problems with the law, it's jusy a preference and appearance thing.....and damn they look sweet on most that I've seen so far..
