Exactly what is giving you trouble on them?I thought mine were pretty straight forward maybe the ex cabs are different. ON my truck(reg cab) you pull back the carpet by the pedals, put the appropriate size socket on the bolt that you have uncovered (its in a little hole) and remove the bolt. Replace it with the new one from gsp. crawl under truck, slide the steps' bracket onto the new bolt, place nut and lock washer on bolt tighten. Now for the back half.Gsp says the factory holes (in the frame) will work- they didn't on mine,I had to make the hole larger to accomodate the bolts.Lift step up so the bracket lines up with the factory holes.Place bolt in. put the lockwasher and nut on and tighten. One side down, repeat process for passenger side. It does help to have someone help hold the steps in place while getting the nuts started.Any questions?

the bars have these brackets on the end that are supposed to line up with exsisting holes on the truck. the rear brakets are supposed to be bolted onto the rear leaf spring hanger, and the front is bolted on the holes by the front cross memeber. I just dont know which damn bolts i'm supposed to loosen.
