Ok i know that cervinis makes the ram air hood for the lighting and that they are making one for the standard f-150 but are they're any other FUNCTIONAL ram-air hoods out there?

 

the one for the L is the same for the standard f150, they just advertise w/ the L. They made an experimental functional kit to one L. They are redesigning it. Cervini told me last month that it'll be another 2 months, which is the same thing they've been telling me since July. I asked if the kit will be adaptable between all engines (v6 and both v8's) and they said yes. I'm sure any design will come off of a v8 and the only thing I worry about is the size of the intake tube matching up w/ for the v6 - if it doesn't fit then we'll make it fit.
They have no other hood for the f150. I believe there is a Good Hood that is functional but has a completely different look. The 'snake eyes' hood that Crash has (or had) was supposed to be functional (or atleast getting there).

the hood looks great whether it's functional or not. I have found 2 people that agreed to make a custom set-up to make it functional for me, but I think I'll just wait on Cervini.

I too am patiently waiting for the funcional ram air upgrade for the Cervini's. I wonder what performance increase one would expect? I wonder if Mike will need to reprogram my chip?

I know keystone makes a ram air hood for the 97 - 98 F-150 with the functional ram air option for v-6 and v-8

 

I'm waiting for Keystone to make their "Shaker" hood for the F150s.
