My wife bought mine as a Christmas present. I believe they were $46.00 a pair. Very easy to install, save yourself some money.

Cool

I purchased my mud flaps from the dealer. I think they cost me $20 a pair. They got the Ford logo on them. They're not very difficult to install yourself. I recall using primarily a 3/8" power drill and a set of bits. Some locking ties also help secure the flap.

go to www.roadworksauto.com find the page that lists frt & rear flaps for the Supercrew
They are made by Husky, they are $29.00 a pair, $58.00 for all four and $8.00 shipping
Talk to Fred, good people to work with. took less then 45 mins to install all 4 flaps. And in my estimation, they look better then the factory flaps.

Question

JA Stang86,
Question for you. I've got a 2001 SCrew Lariat 2WD. The flaps the Ford parts guys have listed for the rear are different than the ones on yours. They don't "wrap around" the Lariat moulding like the front ones do. Do you have a part number for the rear flaps?
Thx

Cool

I bought the Ford molded ones after I bought my truck, Do yourself a favor and install them yourself. I Tried to have the service dept. do it. The first time they only installed half the mounting hardware and when I took it back they stripped out most of the mounting holes. They would look much better on a dark vehicle instead of the silver on mine.

Dave H, I have a full set i just took of my truck because I installed the Lariat painted to match flares and they do not fit over them. I had to order the ones I wanted for the rear, leaving the front ones off. Pls send me an e-mail (murray@courteouscom.com)and maybe can work something out!

Hey, Lariat, you got them for the same reason I did... Flaresides get the mud flaps in exchange for the door mouldings. I ripped one of mine off my 97 messin' around in some really deep frozen ruts... So, now I have an extra left one... with my luck I'll rip the right one off again!

Cool

The part #'s I have on mine are
F65Z16A55OHA
F65Z16A55OGA
My reciept does not specify which one is for the front and which for the rear. I have a 1999 F-Series accessories catalog and they are in there listed as
"Base Part Number: 16A550"
"Suggested Retail Price: $34.00/pair"
And if I remember correctly, I was told there was a difference between the 4X4, and 4X2, but since my Lariat has the fender flares it takes the 4X4 style. I also recall being told the front's would not work with the molded cab steps, because of the way they wrap around. Hope this helps.
Jeff

I bought the factory molded mud flaps for my 99 XLT Sport, but due to the wide (275-60R17) tires, they don't keep all the crap off the sides of the truck! I installed them myself in about an hour, and it was pretty easy to tell the front from the back (the back are noticibly larger). When ordering them, I did have to specify 4X2 XLT, as they are different models for the 4X4 and 4X2 Lariat. If I remember correctly, I paid about $35.00 a pair from Cowles Ford in Woodbridge, VA.
