Don't know much about grille guards, but from experience with exhaust systems, anything stainless is gonna be tons more cash. Take a look at the Borla, it is SS and over 4 bills for a 4.2L application. I'm guessing that grille guards are the same way. Good Luck

IMHO, there is nothing better than the stainless Manik... I love the way mine looks on my white truck, and now with the 2 stainless daylighters to boot! (although they were a royal pain to mount!) It's well worth every penny to get the stainless. Short of mangling it, it'll be the last one he has to buy for the life of the truck, and it won't look like junk after a couple of years in the snow belt.

Exclamation 1997 4x4 Stainless Steel Grille Guard

Have a friend with a 1997 4x4 Lariat. He's looking for a decent SS grille guard. He likes the looks of mine, but wants stainless. I told him Manik, but they are waayyy expensive. Anyone know where he could get one a little cheaper, or a better one?

Still looking for a good one.
Manik and Westin are the candidates so far.
Any other good ones out there?

Does GSP make a SS guard?
I have the black Safari guard on my truck and love it.

Question

Lariat...

Off topic slightly, but how much did you pay for your grille? I never was much up on grilles, but they're starting to grow on me.
