Back To Black

I don't remember who it was that mentioned in a thread about Back To Black, but I thank whoever it was.

I had gotten was on my bed rails, bumper, and door handles making my 6 month old truck look 6 years old.

This stuff is AWESOME. Looks brand new, took about 15 minutes.
I have a new truck again.

Thanks again.

I have used Back to Black before and was very impressed by the initial results. I found though that it fades away very quickly
(ie: 1 or 2 days). I'd be interested in knowing if you experience the same thing.

Back to Black is an exterior rubber/vinyl dressing put out by Mothers. Basically restores faded trim back to its original color and shine.

Are you talking about chips and scratches in your paint or on your trim? If its on paint, Search will give you a ton of articles to view on the subject. If you could be a bit more specific as to what your looking for, I'm sure you can get some suggestions.

It's been about 2 weeks now and maybe just a tad bit of fading on a couple of the door handles that were REALLY bad. I had a bit of difficulty trying to get the wax to "disappear". The bed rails and bumper areas still look brand new. No complaints (yet)

SpeedDemon,

To show your pictures in the thred you will need the URL of your image... i.e. http://www.whatever.com/truck.jpg, now, make sure that it's the URL of the image, and not the page the image is on.

Now just click the "IMG" button, and type in (or copy/paste) the URL of the image...

So for your first pic, you type in http://x2.putfile.com/5/12113281145.jpg

and you get this:

I just wiped it on with a rag, waited about 5-10 minutes, and buffed it off. The "white" is now back completely. Haven't had a chance to recoat. I may try a toothbrush this time to work into the plastic a bit better.
