It looked brand new for a couple weeks, but all the white has returned. I haven't been able to recoat yet. If this doesn't work, I guess I'll have to try some other product or buy painted door handles.

I'm a die hard Meguiars guy (thanks to RockPick). The Back to Black (IMO) only hides the dirt and wax. I found that a heavy duty vinyl cleaner works the best, then top off with Back to Black. An white drafting eraser also works wonders in getting the white wax stains off the trim also.
I currently use Meguiars (pro line) #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner and top off with #40 Vinyl and rubber cleaner/conditioner (#40 doesn't really clean, but has UV protection and leaves a nice shiney/black finish).

i use the Meguiars#40 as well on all my outside black trim and mudflaps. i find it works at lot better then the back to black.
