Which Brush Guard???
Alright... there are lots of manufacturers of brush guards out there. They range from 150 to over 500. Some are aluminum and some are steel. Some are 1 piece and others are 5piece. Westin seems to be making the most expensive stuff out there. Anyone have a suggestion as to what is the best for the money? The guards i've seen out there have all been using steel hardware that rusts after about 6 months. Does anyone sell a guard with nice stainless hardware?

Manik makes a stainless one but it's pretty pricey (around $700+). I just bought a Genuine Steel Products guard in black powdercoat finish; unfortunately, doesn't last 2-3 winters up here in AK. I've been debating about putting Herculiner on it. But not sure if it'll maintain the shine or dull after a few months.

I just put a Manik Stainless one-piece on. Cost me $700, but it looks SWEET, and will never rust up here, even in our wonderful MI salt season. I know what oyu mean about the others not lasting. They get about 2 or maybe 3 winters, and they all begin to corrode. I went with the one piece so that the only non-stainless bolts are on the mounting brackets (which hide nicely) and on the headlight wires (which can be replaced with stainless at any boat shop). I also bought a set of stainless 150 watt KCs from the same shop... again for the same reasons, however KC now makes a black titanium housing for fans of black.

Here's the link to a pic of my grille guard. It's not a very good pic, but it gives you an idea of what it looks like and the mounting, etc.
Can somebody tell me how to post the pic in here instead of just the link? I knwo there's an easy way, but I can't find it... I guess I should've paid attention in all those other posts about the subject!

Boy, that was quick!!!... I thought I tried that, but I guess I must've had a type-o.... I think I figured it out... I couldn't see all of the URL for the pic, so I didn't have anything beyond the "GIJoeCam&_ID", and when I tried to just copy it, all that showed up when I pasted it was "Manik Grill Guard" I dunnpo what's up, but thanks.... I guess I just need some practice now. :-)
Thanks. Now, back to our originally scheduled question..... :-)
