Recently bought some Putco Pipeline Nerf steps for my 97 F150 SC. They were factory seconds but came with Chev Tahoe brackets (maybe being Chev made them seconds, huh). Anybody have any ideas on how to mount these? Modifying the brackets that came with them is just too much drilling and would be a mess....... I am considering channel iron extending from frame to frame and extended enough to mount the bars on. Any ideas?
