I checked the messages here but didn't see this posted but if it has been and I missed it, then consider this just a reminider!

I ordered a pair of the ultra white lights from f150online and had one of them blow out on me. I thought it a fluke and installed another only to have it blow out. I then installed another but this time I correlated any activities I had done prior to it blowing out and remembered something.

I hosed down the truck with one of those high-pressure washers, concentrating on the front. Checking the headlight housing, I discovered the seal around the clear part of the housing and the back part was applied incorrectly. Either that or it deteriorated...who knows.

Water got in and must've gotten on the light bulb itself. I taped mine up to prevent any more moisture from getting in but will apply a sealing compound later.
