Biged, Is your truck the white lifted one with the ford logo going from your bed to your tonneau cover. If so I Love the way that looks. But also where did you get that chrome gas cap deal. and how much was it..

Big Ed will have to Kill you if he tells you. Come on .....where did you get that gas cap cover?

 

I looked everywhere but the right place. Where can I see a pic of Big Ed's gas cap?

 

Don't know where he has gotten his, but you can buy it from www.amp-research.com. It's about $180 and according to the lady I talked to, only in the prototype stages, but they have a few made already. It was shown in the April 29th Trucks TV show. Good luck. Hope you don't mind Ed.

Okay cool, now I know what it looks like. I has seen this before on a Suburban and on some mitsubishi car --> liked it a lot. Ever since then I wanted one. But $180 for a gas cover???? Would you spend the cheese?

 

I think I can answer this question since he never comes to this part of the message board. He saw it one day on the show "Trucks" and then he ordered one. They only made 100 for the F150, I believe he got #90 or something.

 

There is another company that makes this gas cap.I saw an ad in a Truck Trend magazine and if I remember correctly, they sell it for $100. I'll see if I can find that ad and post the company name tonight.

 

Well... I want the co. to start mass prod. so when I get the rest of the truck done one day & paint her Bright Yellow Or Orange the gas cap/flap will look better on it...
I hope alot of people request it so they will start/continue to make them...

I found the info on the billet-aluminum gas cap, AMP Reasearch (949-461-5990)is the comany that makes it. Looking at the picture in the mag, it looks almost exactly as the one that comes with the Mishbushi eclipse.
