Smooth Wiper Cowl Cover
Hi All
I was wondering if anyone has installed the Smooth wiper cowl covers that are sold in the digital market place.
They look real cool, but my question is how to they effect the heater/ air conditioner?
Doesn't the stock wiper cowl take air in for the heater and A/C
I think it would be a cool modification, but I am concerned that I wont get enough air into the heater and A/C

I would like to know if it does effect anything, I live in a snowy part of town and if it doesn't effect anything I think that it will the next thing that goes on.

Well I just got mine back this morning from the paint shop...Looks SOOOOO sweet!!! I cant believe that there is THAT much air that gets through the stock one...besides here in NM the weather is to perfect to worry..hehehehe.

I would think you would need all the air flow you can get to help cool the engine compartment. I know the radiator is what cools the engine but retaining all that hot air in the compartment doens't seem right. I had the LUND wiper cowl on my truck for over a year now, and it is vented so there is no restriction of air flow. It was painted to match the truck. Now I am having an aftermarket fiberglass non-ram air hood installed on the truck so I took the wiper cowl off. I might leave it off and see how it looks with out it. If I decied to leave it off I am selling it for $60.00, it's Pacific Green in color and looks brand new

Yes....I'm ALIVE!!!! I've been out of state on business for the last 2 months. But now I'm home and have been VERY busy with the truck. Lets see first thing I did was tweed the headliner with sculpted flames. Next had the wiper cowl and front bumper cover painted, tomorrow I pick up and have installed the "Innovations Pro Sport" toneau cover. Have to stop by the office to pick up my clear taillight covers and white face gauges with "RED" numbers (Roger knows me to well). On Tuesday the truck goes into the shop to get slammed one more time. On Wed. it goes back to have the rear tailgate handle "flipped" and a custom steel roll pan built, installed, and painted, oh yeah they are taking the badges off the rear as well. It will be completely "SMOOOOOTH"!!!
All that will be left (yeah right it will never end), RIMS & TIRES. Yep all this work and still have stock tires and rims. Have to finish the interior with the front doors tweed and the darker colors on the door panels swapped out with red. Then the "Ghost Flame" paint job. Of course will have to spend some spare time on the bed
