Question Looking for custom hood design from this site???

I am looking for a custom hood I saw once on this web site. It was on a blue F150 2wheel drive truck. Front 3/4 picture shot if I remember right. I don't know if it was a members truck or if it was fiberglass or a stamped steel one. The openings looked like the Cobra hood on a Mustang. I would like any information about it. There is just too many threads to go back thru from the past year or so.

J_Rock,
Thanks for the picture. I will look up the company and try to find out about it. I also saw another picture of one somewhere else but can't find it either.

I think I know which hood you are talking about. It has kind of a low profile squarish intake in the center of the hood. I think that one is the F-1 but I don't know who makes it.

OK, I did a little checking & found a few things. This is an image from the owners gallery (https://www.f150online.com/owners/owners8.html):
it doesn't mention what hood it is. (this is the one I was thinking of in previous post.
The picture posted by J_Rock is the F1 hood. Here is another picture of the F1 hood (https://www.f150online.com/owners/owners137.html:

Here is a URL of where you can buy the F1:
http://www.americanautodesigns.com/

(I will be amazed if all those links & images work without an edit =] )

hey guys~
quzax, very impressive job of setting up your post. you did it w/o any edits. anyway, i was looking at the american auto design hood at one point, but Truckin installed one on one of their trucks, and it didn't look like it lined up very well. plus, they're a little more than i was wanting to spend.
best of luck . . .

hey, i believe the hood you are looking for is made by American Auto Design. i don't remember the web address, but here is a picture of WYLDMAN'S truck, hope you don't mind Wyldman!! They have an add in the back of Truckin, it should have all the information you need.

Okay since we are on the subject of ramair hoods, does anyone know if say a bugdeflector would interfere with a functional ram air hood. Isn't the point of the bug deflector to deflect air upwards and ramair hoods to collect air, it seems that these two thinks would conflict eachother.
