Headlight covers

Some feedback please. Do those black plastic headlight covers hinder lighting at night much?

I do not have them on my F150, but I had them on my two previous vehicles, 95 Explorer Sport & 93 SHO. I will never buy these again. Yhey are inexpensive and look good, depending on the look you are going for. but, to answer your question, night driving is hindered dramatically. I had to upgrade my foglights on both vehicles just to get e-nuff lighting at night. Unless you have foglamps to light the way, I would recommend against them.

last time i checked those were illegal to have on at night.
i was pulled over once for having them on in the middle of the day just because it was raining.

Obviously these covers will not be the best for night driving, so why not just take them off? I have them on my truck and when it gets too dark I just remove the covers. It's not that difficult. They have no purpose at night anyways: the light shines right through them so you can't even show off the fact that your truck has a good-looking set of light covers on the front.

I recommend getting the covers. They're a cheap mod. for your truck that really changes it's appearance when it can best be seen: the daytime...
