Christmas is just around the corner and Daddy (me) wants a new set of Westin Chrome Nerf Bars. So where do I tell my wife to get them? Local shops have been anywhere from $329 to $369 installed. I don't mind doing the install myself. I know I can beat this price going online/mail-order. Who out there "ordered" their Westins? Where? How much?

I talked to three local shops since I am looking for the same thing, and they all said Westin bars are trash. All three stopped carrying them because of too many complaints. Smittybilt bars mount to the frame (instead of body) and look almost identical. Try Performance Products http://www.performanceproducts.com/

Can't order bars online, but the phone # is there. Oh, and they have Westin bars, too, if you still want them. When I called last week, all Westin products were backordered 30+ days. Shipping charges are reasonable, and no tax except in CA.

 

I ended up getting the Westins from Wrenchhead.com for a great deal. I called about their online add and was told of their mistake on the page. They had switched the price of the black and chrome. The guy took my phone number and called me back at home that night. He said that he would honor the mistake and so I got the chome Westins for $212.95 delivered (no tax, no shipping for UPS ground). I couldn't pass up this deal. I've already installed them and I'm very pleased with the looks and quality. Thanks for the advice anyway.

My chrome westins are mounted to the frame and they look and function perfect>

 

I just ordered Westins today from WrenchHead. An early Christmas Present. They honored the $223.20 for chrome super-cab 3rd door. The person did say there is a mistake on the web site but will sell them at that price. Hey, damorris, how long did it take for them to ship?

I received my Westin Nerfs on Tuesday. Took about an hour and a half crawling around the garage to install. The install is pretty straight forward and no drilling was necessary. They attach to the body. Pictures on the way.

I just ordered a set of Westin's for myself from wrenchead..price was $225.60. If they're gonna leave it on the website for that price, I sure would get it from them..free shipping to boot. Call them, don't order from site as part # is wrong. For a SC 3dr you want 25-1110 for the chrome.
Wrenchhead's rep called me back on a Sunday...FYI they're a little slow on returning calls but their service is excellent.

Westins are great, no problems. Anyone can install them in about 45mins.
