Question about your Xenon Airdam - Did it come that color or did you paint it?

Thanks for the compliment! The air dam comes matte black...I had it painted black to match the truck.

Really cool site...I love how you showed each individual item and titled it. Of course the wife just walked in and made a remark of how I am certainly not alone with my compulsive obsessive behavior...Man ya gotta love it!!!

cableguy,
Wouldn't you know it but my wife says the same exact things! I guess you can't blame em! My wife hasn't even driven my SD yet. It's not that I won't let her, because I've tried to get her to try it. She just doesn't want to...says it's too big! Oh well, I just PRETEND it bothers me she won't drive...on the inside I'm pretty darn glad because I wanna drive!!

Dunbarton,
Thanks for the compliment! How's that SuperChip make a difference? I've just ordered one for mine but the "file" for the computer code on mine hasn't even been done yet (this is what I'm told). I won't get it for another 4-8 weeks.

Truckin4,

The SuperChip was quite satisfying to me and I've had a lot of fun with it. What you must keep in mind is that it is a performance chip, not a high performance chip. It will not transform a vehicle into a Lightning or a Mustang GT.

One of the most pleasant attributes I have noticed is a firmer shift in the transmision. It appears to do away with the mushy factory settings and makes it much crisper but not to the point where it's jerky.

Just be sure it is seated correctly, tape it securly in place and check the installation in a few months. Mine worked its way out a little and was erratic but it was my fault and not the fault of the SuperChip. I learn all the time.

By the way, when I was looking at your pictures, it appeared you spent all your furniture money on mods ....... atta boy! Best to you for the New Year.
