Offroader99, keep us informed on the results. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I'm gonna have to order me some more before long. I've been demostrating this stuff on a lot of my friends and relatives cars and trucks and I'm startng to run low. Everyone was very pleased with the results.

Has anyone tried "blitz" wax? I've heard that is produces a deep long lasting shine, for those of us that only wax once a month or so. I know, I'm obsessive! But how else do you keep a 5 and a half year old truck looking close to new!? I just went and admired her again, boy is she pretty!

Their number should be on the site somewhere, or you can email Sal, he'll answer pretty quickly.

Ive been using One Grand "Blitz Wax" for almost 2 years now. In the past I've tried them all - Zymol-Meguires-Mothers, etc and I still havn't seen a wax product outperform Blitz wax.
The depth and clarity this wax produces is impressive to say the least, and second to none, well perhaps Zymol produces similar results but it cost 3 times the price of a can of Blitz.
If you need more detailed info about car wax, then check out www.carcareonline.com -
www.autosupermarket.com - www.waxdepot.com
Take care

For those who think they want to try Liquid Glass, read on. I tried it on Miata a few years ago, and it removed way too much paint off one fender (maybe the folks at Mazda use soft paint?). I threw most of the remainder of the can in the trash and swore off it. i have been detailing cars for a hobby for more than 20 years, I've tried everything. I'm still looking for the best wax. Zymol has a can listed on their website which they sell for $995.00/can (lifetime supply). I'm saving for it and I'll let you all know how it works.

I have used Mothers for years. Great shine and protection. I use the 3 step process - not the cleaner/wax. This consists of a pre-wax cleaner (that only has to be done 1Xper year), a sealer/glaze and pure carnuba. People often comment about the shine on my truck and are surprized when I tell them that it is 3 years old and never kept in a garage. Beyond that, I bought this truck only about 3 months ago and I honestly don't think it had ever been waxed. Mother's is not terribly expensive and it is available at most automotive retailers.

justdriveone,

How did you apply the liquid glass?. I just finished claying and applying it and my truck looks awesome. It looks wet and the color looks a lot deeper. I have talked to different detailers and they have nothing but good things to say about liquid glass. I am sorry to hear about your experience but if anybody else has had similar experiences, please, post them so we can be aware.

I recently did the same thing. Clay bar then Liquid Glass and absolutely love the results!! After two coats of LG the truck has been washed about 4 times (twice a week) and so far so good. Beads very nicely and still has the wet/slippery look and feel to it. I plan on applying another two coats later this week. Most of my paint is almost 5 years old and I had no problem with paint removal. As a matter of fact, I find that hard to believe since Liquid Glass has no abrasives in it! It is a true polish. The only question that I have not yet been able to get a concrete answer to is: should/can I apply a wax with no abrasives in it over the Liquid Glass to protect the polish??

I have had very good results and no problems with Liquid Glass. Very nice shine, and bugs don't stick to grill/hood/mirrors even several weeks after initial application.
