Hey thanks guys for the compliments on Hoss

Let me tell you its not easy maintaining black paint. Just wish my digital camera took better pics, the clarity isn't great, but it only cost me $70. Not bad I guess.

My 2004 F-150 XLT

Here are a few pix. The first is during a 3700 miles cross country trip. The second and third are recent after my Putco Patriot Stainless grill install. Better pix to come. Take a look at my PHOTOBUCKET sit if you want to see more.

How much did it cost all together? And if you did it yourself, how hard was it?

96, and only 48,000 miles on it. It sat in a garage for practically all its life.

I'm in the process of saving up for keyless entry, system, darker tint, and maybe power windows and locks. But I doubt I'll get the power windows and locks.

EDIT- Oh, and I have to get my driver side door repainted because some careless *** swung open his door, and left me a beauty of a scratch and dent on my door, for my to pay for. The guy didn't even leave his info. Hopefully the painters can match my original paint. I dont have the money to repaint my whole truck.

And I'm going to get a flip kit for the back of my truck, just lower it enough so its even with the front.

Yea i did it myself. Bought the kit from ebay for 800. Took about a day and i will say its not a very hard job but its also not for everyone. Hardest part is really linein up the doors with the cab finder and then the fender back to the hood. Fender also has to be trimmed but just on the inside nothing major!

Wink F150 Family

This is my mid-life crisis toy. Finally at 41, I have my first real truck. I'm really happy with looks and performance of it so far. Can't want to do too much to it? I do have a list though.
My son recently got me interested in firearms too. Sounds like I'm kind of turning into a redneck (Ha Ha Ha).

List of future upgrades:
Fog lights
Ventvisors
Bug shield
rear slider window
K&N or Airaide intake
stereo upgrade (complete system - h/u, spkrs, amp, subs - piece by piece).
Wheels & tires
??Change paint to pearlized white
2 fat gold stripes down center of truck (excuse me Arizonia beige) to match existing 2-tone.

I'd like to start at fog lights but don't have front bumper for built-in's. Where should I start? Trying to start with least expensive, but with things that will make my truck POP. Is this list in a decent order of priority?

Forgot these, add to my mods list:
mud flaps
Dual exhaust system

Here is my picture:

I'm not sure about posting pics on this board, hope this works.

Please MTV and West Coast Customs : 'Pimp my Ride ! ! !' Rockon dudes.

RayStanfield- congrads on your truck bud. I know how it feels, I got Hoss back in Oct of 96 (my B-day present to self) and it was my first full sized truck. I'll forever have a full sized now. Have fun and show us pics as your mods come along!
