I broke all of my originals into tons of pieces but thatwas fine... I used a little glue-b-gone or equivalent to get the residue off, cleaned the surfaces real well and then stuck the new badges on.

Real simple...took about 1 hour total...

HMM

So, they arent friggin riveted on?

Jamz... they do have little locator pins that position the badges on the fenders...but they are not attached w/ anything but 3m tape. When you pull the line between the badge and the truck, you'll hit those pins...so I just pulled and broke the badge off as I went...

Dzervit...sweet man...Steve will take care of you! One day I may get one that says Turbo TXTonka

Cool, Cool, but you dont have to "break" the pins loose from the truck, right?

It will just leave 2 small holes where the pins on the badge line up with the fender correct?

yup...

The tape is what holds the badges on the truck...you'll see two holes when they are completely off...

Email me if ya'll want the contact info...not sure if I can post it here since it may be seen as advertising...

As far as my flares...they are Line-X sprayed as is most of my exterior trim pieces...

I like sprayed my...
(1) front bumper pad
(2) rear bumper pad
(3) OEM fender flares
(4) PIAA air dam
(5) OEM bed rail caps
(6) OEM tailgate cap
(7) rear rocker panels
(8) tailgate trim pieces
(9) N-Fab pre-runner bar
(10) N-Fab nerf bars

Looks godd when shined up w/ Adams Polish VRT and holds up to the wear and tear of offroading...best of both worlds... There are some more close-ups in my exterior mods album...

TxTonka: Greetings....long time reader here, not much of a poster as you can see by my count....but when i saw ur truck i just had to say what a truly awesome machine it is!!! There are a few decent trucks ive seen, but yours is very tasteful and is just awesome! I am a big fan of the "stealthy" look of the line-ex! I had a Jeep Commanche with the pre-runner and love the look of them. Congrats on a well put together vehicle!

Furthermore after seeing the look and quality of the badges you have I would talk to your buddy about becoming a supporting vendor on this site. I am SURE he would get TONS of business!!! I was going to have some custom badges made awhile back (gel coated ones), but the jerk just didnt wanna communicate with me...oh well his loss....anyways, he got alot of business from here, this site sees alot of traffic!

Regards,

Medic

Sweet...I will definitetly talk with Steve about getting set up as a preferred vendor. I was really the first F150 to give him a shot...he primarily made Supercrewzer badges for 250s and 350s...

Thanks for the compliments regarding my Line-X sprayed parts...somethign different at least...
