The cops shouldn't hassle you as long as you have the amber bulbs in them.

 

Haha...they aren't too expensive $29.95 for the pair. I got them here: F150 Corners I'm planning on getting some of these bulbs for them too. They are a silver blue color when off and amber when lit. Only problem is they are almost the same price as the lenses!!! SilverStar Bulbs
The amber bulbs are legal what is not legal is the absence of an amber reflector on the side so that cars approaching from the side at night will light it up with their headlights. It is a Federal law that all vehicles be equipped with an amber reflector on the front and a red reflector on the rear. If you are interested you can read the legal mumbo-jumbo here: Legal Stuff
