are ebay parts any good

OK time and time again I hear you get what you pay for. And I know it's true, but I'm seeing clear corners for $15 and white face gauges for $30 intake kits with K&N for $50. IS THIS STUFF JUNK OR WHAT? Looking closely at it online it seems that it might be all right (not great, but all right). Has anyone had any experience with any of these products? I read the feedback on the seller and people seem to be satisfied. I don't want to throw away money, but I don't have deep pockets either. Thanks!

I have bought just about everything that is on my truck off ebay. Nerf bars, blackouts, clear corners and black clear corners, roll bar, etc. The clear corners are a pain in the butt to figure out. You would think they would just slide right in like your OEM housings, but they dont (at least they didnt on my truck). You have to take a little time and baby them to get them in. Meaning you have to get them lined up perfect. If you get the clear corners, buy from Procarparts.com. I have bought alot of stuff off of them and have not been let down once! Very fast shipping! Just look closely at the auction and decide for yourself. The intakes are pretty good......just make sure you replace the crappy filter with a quality K&N. Good luck!!

My aftermarket corners on my old truck installed in about 5 minutes.

Just be careful on Ebay dude. Read up on feedback. I got screwed on some tails on there.

I have also got some awesome deals, just gotta know your stuff i guess.

what he said ^^^

Make sure you know what you are bidding on before you do. IMHO, for light housings only go with TYC, the extra price reflects the quality

I got some clear corners a few months ago and they work great and look great also. Like was mentioned, look at the seller's feedback and see what people say. For most things you should be just fine.

I have always had good luck with E-Bay. You just have to do some research and make sure you understand what you are buying. I also do not deal with anyone that has alot of bad or very little feedback.

Bought these headlights from this company a couple of weeks ago. Very happy with them.

I wouldn't deal with anyone who has negative feedback. If they do have negative feedback then read up on it. I learned the hard way but luckily my loss was only $20. It could have been worse, I guess. I haven't had any other dislikes about ebay.

Find a seller with very good and consistent feed back, and read the entire description before buying. Don't be affraid to send them e-mail messages and ask specific questions about the product(s) that they're selling. I've seen people with ebay auction listings that feature pictures of a Ford factory part, but come to find out through e-mail that what they're really selling are aftermarket pieces. Know exactly what it is you're looking for. I've purchased APC "Altezza" style tail light assemblies and most recently APC 3D Retro corner lamps, and everything worked out fine. Actually, truckperformance.com and Stylin' Concepts wanted between $90 and $95 for the 3D Retro corner lamps. I found a brand-new set on e-Bay in chrome for just $36.00 and they fit very well.
