Angry stampede ventshades

Just wanted to vent real quick about what i thought was a good product. I spent 60 on a set of stampede in channel vent shades, after a month i noticed they were pulling away from the base of my window where they are secured w/ 3m tape. I replaced the tape with heavy duty no big deal, a month later same problem. Replaced again. Then just washed the truck a week later and came undone again. Left the shop I bought them from with a set of vent visors non in channel. I would advise against these vent shades by stampede. Anyone else have similar problems to report?

I've had pretty good luck with my in-channel rainguards made by Wade. Had them on for probably close to a year and they are still attached pretty well. The only complaint I have with them is on the front right one. The bottom section that comes down behind the mirror trim tends to lean outward a little (1/4" or so). There is nothing behind the mirror to stick it to, so I just push it back in about once a week.

Got a friend with a Chevy and the VentShade brand rainguards, and one of his flies off about once a week! He just stops to pick it up and stuffs it back in the window channel. LOL!

I've had WeatherTech in channel vent shades for a year and a half now on my SuperCrew w/o any problems.
