I am looking for some aftermarket ground effects to put on my truck (something similar to what lightnings come with). I have an '03 extended cab stepside (I think thats the flareside) truck. I see that street scenes makes one for my truck but their website doesnt have pictures and they don't respond to email which makes me question the quality of the parts and the customer service. I have seen ground effects on other trucks like mine that are different than the street scenes but I can not find a manufacturer for them. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!!!!

 

I dont have any pics but I cant understand how these companies can have no pictures of their products. It pisses me off. If I want to buy something based on how it will look on my truck I want to see a pic of it first. SO stupid.

I've been eyeing the Street Scene kits myself for my '01 SCrew and remember finding some pics, but cannot remember where I found them. That's one of the drawbacks to internet shopping. Hard to know what you're getting until it arrives.

Do a Yahoo! search for "street scene body kit" or something similar without the quotes and you will find some companies that sell them. Send them an email and they can probably hook you up with some pics.

 

Check out the west wing body kit, the sideskirts on that truck are really nice, my opinion. You can also try sporttruckdirect.com, they are located about 3 miles from me so if shipping is ridiculous i get the parts no shipping since i pick them up or very little shipping. I ordered a gen3 bumper for my truck and i wouldve paid 130 shipping, or waited an extra week for their shipment to come in and pay nothing, which is nice to be so close to their store. Anyways if you like any of their sideskirts maybe i can save on your shipping costs.

The street scene makes a kit for my truck (extended cab, step side) but they don't have pictures for this application. It seems to me that if they dont have pictures then they have not installed the kit to check for fit which makes me question the quality.

Wings west does not make a kit for this style truck. I called them and they said there is one due out in a couple months but you know how that goes.

I found a website awhile back for a company that modified F150's (kinda like saleen and steeda) and they had ground effects they installed that looked good. Of course I didnt save the link and I cannot find it now.

 

I would suggest the Street Scenes. I am sure you have seen the photo of their supercrew kit? Your's will look just like it but it will fit your ext cab flareside. Just be sure to order the ext cab flareside kit and not the ext cab styleside kit.
