Today I ordered my new honeycomb style Surround from the Ford dealer and also ordered my Steel Horse (Steel Horse Grill P/N 7512 ) grill from Quadratec.com. I’ll have less than $300 into everything and I can’t wait to get it painted and installed!

I'll be doing a "How To" on the grill install (like all the other mods) and posting it on my Project F150 web site when I'm done.

Thanks again..

Hmmm, if you ordered the grill surround from the dealer, you could have ordered it painted?? That would have saved you the trouble. But, you got the things you were looking for. Post some before and after pics when you get done.,,,,98

A buddy of mine works at the parts counter at the dealership and knows what I need but if it's not painted no big deal b/c I also bought unpainted bumpers that need painting anyway.

I just wish my stinkin' tires would get here! The new wheels arrived 2 weeks ago but no tires.. Hopefully Monday..

I'll post pics (or a link) when it's done but it will look a lot like this:

2 weeks shipping difference? Are you sure they're sending them. I'd be driving over there to wring their necks, lol! Good luck, it's gonna look sharp!,,,,98

CoachP,
Those are Putco Locker Stainless Bedrails. They are the best quality on the market. They actually curve to match the curve of the bed. Really do look nice and will hold anything.

I just received my Steel Horse grill today, is there suppose to be instructions because mine didn't come with any? I can prolly figure it out w/o to much problem but it would be nice to have them..
Also, the bottom rail is bent up on both corners, is this suppose to be this way?

Thanks

The instructions were sketchy at best anyway. It's not too hard to figure out, though. The bent corners are just a shipping problem since they don't pack them very well. Just carefully bend them back to shape. Good luck, and post if you need some more help? I will be offline for most of the day today, flying from Buffalo to Houston. But I should be able to post some tips late tonight when I have more time.,,,,98
