Amp Question: DVC?

How do I know if my amp is able to run a Dual Voice Coil sub? What should I be looking for on my amp. All I know is that the amp is a mono….I can’t find the manual for it. The model number is MRP-M200 and it is made by Alpine.

Thanks,

Pete

any amp can run a DVC sub..you need to know what is the lowest ohm load your amp is stable at,and how many ohms your sub's coils are rated at ...then you can move on to the correct wireing configuration..........well i just checked here... http://www.discountcarstereo.com/det...ct_ID=MRP-M200 and it seems you can run 200W at 2 ohm's not bad need to know what sub you want..
