Which one?
Kicker is definately the better of the two, but Kenwood makes a decent amp for the money. IMO you are trying to choose between top of the line and middle of the road. Hope that analogie helps a little.
Thanks for the input. The amp is going to be used for bass. Does it make a difference if I use the lesser quality Kenwood or the top of the line kicker amp for bass? Would'nt the sound(Thump) be the same if I used either of the two? Or is their a difference?
I, too, like PPI ( Precision Power Industries). They make a high end amp, one of the absolute best out there regarding quality. I have a PPI PCX 5800, a 5 channel amp that run 4 door speakers
(Boston RX87 5x7's) and a single Boston Pro series 10.5LF sub.
I am happy with the amp's quality and the Sub, but not the Boston RX87's 5X7's. The high end has a little distortion on high notes that is even more detectable with the PPI amp. The only problem with the PPI amp is the price...If I had to choose between the Kicker and teh Kenwood, I'd choose the Kicker, too.
I have friends that have used both, and a majority of the Kicher users were completely satisfied. On the other hand, Kenwood is not bad.
Good luck.

I went with Phoenix Gold Tantrum series. I'd say they are in the same category as the Kicker amps...?
I'm very pleased with them.
