Mounting amp near subwoofer

Are there any problems with mounting your amp next to your subwoofer enclosure? I was thinking of making a subwoofer box about 36" for under my back seat and then mounting the amp next to it on the driver's side of the rear seat. Will this create any problems or should I just mount it under the passenger or driver's seat?

Thanks

Some people say it will rattle your amp around and make it faulty. One of my friends has his amp on his box and he has 2 jl12w3's and has had no problems. so i say mount away

Thumbs up Mount it on the box.....

unless you are really pounding, it won't cause any problems. A well built box will not vibrate much anyway. I have my amp mounted in a recess on my sub box with 4 8" subs in it. No problems at all.
