Any Tri-mode amp gurus?

I'm finally getting my stuff together and have been thrown a curve I don't know how to deal with. I am replacing all 4 door speakers and adding a single 10" sub (keeping Factory HU). I had planned on doing a 4ch amp for the doors and a separate amp for the sub (dual Voice). Now, I'm not going to be able to get the DVC sub. My second choice sub can handle the power of the amp bridged. Should I stay with this plan or wiould I be better off getting a 2ch amp for the front doors and a tri-mode amp for the rear doors and the sub? I can get the sub in either 4 or 8 ohm. I really don't understand tri-mode veryt well and don't know which way is better. I do believe the tri-mode would cost a bit more as I would have to upsize the amp and the 2ch for the front isn't much less than the 4ch. Any opinions greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

I was leaning that way just because I understand the wiring better and am more comfortable with what I am doing.

Thumbs up

I have a similar setup going right now, 4 channel amp driving the two front speakers and a single ten. I am about to add a bridgeable two channel for the sub, and use the other two channels on the main amp for the rears. It also helps if you have pass through RCA's on the main amp. It cuts down on the hassle of getting the sound to the sub amp, plus you lose less signal strength that way.,,,,,98

Use your HU to power the rear speakers. Save the amp channels for front and sub. Rear speakers are "fill" only anyhow. You want good front stage.
