4 X 100 amp help...recommendations...

I am working on a install for a friend who needs a 4 X 100 amp for his system. The truck is a F150 regular cab with Focals and Memphis subs. Rear speakers will be powered by the head unit. He only wants one amp and I can not change his mind. What is everyone using in their systems? Recommendations? This will be a sound quality system if it will help. Thanks in advance for all of the advice and recommendations...

I'm assuming then that the other two channels are for the subs. Bridged it'll only put out about 300 watts, not enough for two 10"s.
I was looking around for the same kinda amp. I only wanted to run one amp, aside from the fact that it'd save space (not really) but it'd look cleaner. the only (good) ones I really found, if I could remember...
I think Rfosgate had one, don't remember anything on it but a big sugga
Diamond Audio D7104 DRoolLLLL!!! OMG, that amp would be sweet! if he's running High end focals (polykev or utopia's ) then i'd say its a must for what he wants. too bad they MSRP at 1k+!
Have him check out their site.

Otherwise, he can go with a 5ch amp, memphis, i think Lanzar has one.

Oh, I nearly Forgot, ADS! They had the best 4ch amp! I still like the diamond better but the ads is only like 1" tall also. umm, somehting like the PQ 40 or something like that, check it out definately

Thanks for the reply BJay. The idea is 4 X 100 with 100 watts to each speaker/subwoofer. He has Focal PolyKevlars for the front stage and single voice coil Memphis 10" subs for the rear. The 10's have a RMS of 200 watts but they sound good with just 100 watts to each one. I am only running 100 watts to each of mine and they will still get loud. I will let him know what you are recommending and see what he says.

How about a 3ch amp? Xtant x603 is rated for 2 ch @75w each and a sub ch at 150. The wattage doubles at 2 ohm and this thing is loaded with features. Check out their site @ www.xtant.com They are owned by Mitek who also owns MTX

Depends on the focals. I'm running the polyglass and it's plenty. Things to consider with the focals.
Check their ohm load. Example, my 3-way set pulls a 3ohm load. That "bumps up" the output of the amp from a 4 ohm rating.
if he's running the kevlars or something, it should be fine as well

75x2 should be just fine, I believe they're rated up to 115 or something around there. as long as he gets a good install, I'm sure they'll rip.
