wiring in amplifier

just wondering where you are hooking up the power source for your amps in the '97-'03 F-150's

You mean how it's being hooked to the battery? Or like how it's being routed through the cab?

Yea my radio has a remote turn on lead, but you can always do the add a fuse technique.

It should be spliced to the (I believe red) 12 volt wire in the back of the radio, that way it turns on at the same time and way the radio does

I believe that the red comes on when the key is turned on. Is there a wire that goes on and off with the radio? They used to call it the power antenna wire way back in time.
