Jbl amp 1400 died.

Hello, My JBL amp died after 2 years, so I sent it to two diffrent places to get repaired but no luck so I bought the Hifonics Brutus BRZ1700.1D I have had it over 3 months now and all I can say is wow what a amp, never goes in to protect mode our any other problems. I think it is way better then JBL it has way more power then JBL and only cost $200 of ebay where I bought my JBL for $340 off ebay. Good amp & price.

I'm looking to add a seat lift, buy a mmats amp and 2 12" type R 12s that bought from a buddy

Hifonics are definitely great little budget amps, I loved my old brutus 1210d. I felt like it did pretty much all the power it was rated at. But after that I switched to a mmats d300hc, and I could definitely tell the difference in quality, but then again I paid about 2.5 times as much for the used mmats as I did for the new hifonics ha. But the mmats are so far underrated and the sq was a lot better. The hifonics were great in the fact that you could basically crank the gain all the way and not get barely any distortion but it also had a "warmer" sound almost like it kinda filled in flat areas of songs if that makes sense.

Hey the Hifonics amp will run on my optima battery for about 2 hours before the battery dies. I have no diming light problem.
