To start i know nothing about audio. That being said i need somebody to recommend an amp thats good quality but nothing too expensive. Im looking for an amp to power a JL audio 8. They recommend 100-250 watts Heres a link to the sub..

And if I was going to push this sub and the four door speakers. What amp would work best???I have factory speakers in the back and Polk audio db571 components in the front

In all reality any mono block amp you find for that low of a rating on the sub will work. I'd personally just try and find something cheap off craigslist or ebay. As far as your speakers go, those stock speakers most likely cant handle anything more than what an aftermarket head unit will put out. And those polk co-axials are rated at 60 rms so pretty much any bottom of the line(maybe 100 bucks) will be safe enough to push them. A lot of cheaper amps are advertised at ???x1 channel bridged so actually rating will be much lower at ???x2 channels. You might not even need to amp your speakers with the head unit's internal amp. 250 rms isn't much.

Try to stay away from bottom line products, they usually are inefficient, turning power that you need to your speakers into heat instead, making the amp extremely hot. The perfect amp for your set up is the MB quart ONX4.60. You should put the polk speakers on one channel by themselves. (Its a channel amp). Then bridge your jl subwoofer across 2 channels. (Bridging combines 2 channels together to increase power). Take a look at the power ratings, everything matches up perfectly. And leave your stock speakers hooked up to the radio amp. Good luck!

I'd avoid the ONX series. They're poorly built with a lot of plastic. Even the mounting tabs are plastic. I recently bought a 4.80 and had to send it back because it was defective. Even if it worked, I'd have been worried about the cheap materials and inability to dissipate heat.

If your not looking to go nuts and just want a good clean sound. I would go for a Kicker DX400.4 I used one to run everything in my truck.
