Direct audiophile sub replacement ?

Hey everyone,
I currently have the audiophile subwoofer set up but the sub is blown so I am trying to figure out a replacement with no amp upgrade. Now I know the stock setup is 2ohms dvc but I am looking at a Pioneer TS-SW841D Shallow-mount 8" 4-ohm subwoofer svc but not sure how or if I can get the stock amp to 4ohm svc any help is much appreciated or if there is a better sub to use let me know.
Thanks
Dave

What amp are you running and what do you have your current sub wired to now? A dual 2 ohm sub can be wired so that your amp will either see a 1 ohm or a 4 ohm load. You just gotta make sure your amp puts out enough rms power at 4 ohms to push the new sub.
