need a little help

ok heres the deal. i installed an amp and sub several months ago to the stock radio using a thing that turns the amp on through the speaker wire. everything worked great till i took it out and reinstalled. all i did when i took it out was unhook the wires to the amp. now after reinstalling it the amp does not cut off. could it be a loose ground? any other ideas? i'll try and find out the part i used if no one has ever heard of it.

its called a line level converter with music response and remote

i think thats what it is anyway.

I have my sub and amp ran on the stock headunit also using a line converter.Do you have a remote wire ran to the fuse panel on the pasanger side of the truck?

no it uses the line converter it has a built in noise response that triggers the remote to come on.
