AddingFactory Sub + Kenwood Head Unit

I got a factory sub for the low low price of free so I couldn't say no. I got the sub/amp/box along with a foot of wire and the plug that goes into the amp. My question is how do I go about wiring it all up?

My truck didn't come with the sub/amp in it so i'll need to run wires back to it, but I'm not sure what wires are for what and what to wire together?

So who can help me out here?

I know the wire just may be back there, there is a slit cut in the carpet, I just haven't felt around for it yet.

I'm soo happy...found the plug for the sub taped under the carpet under the seat!! The front plug was taped up to the main radio harness. Now all I need is to find an adapter to make it work with my Kenwood HU

I dont mean to hack your thread or anything but i also have the factory sub and amp. my question is if i bought a different wiring harness that didnt include the rca's will i have to rewire it if i bought this? or is there an adaptor that i can just plug into the wire running to the back to hook the rca's up?

I got the harness wired it up and it works...but I can't control the levels on the sub. Is this normal with a factory sub?

EDIT: I figured it out. Had to go into standby mode and change the pr-outs from rear to sub.

Now I just need to get a resistor to get rid of the pop.
