Cool Sync issue after amp install

I just installed a MTX re-q5, amps and subs everything sounds great. My Sync is still working but when I push the button I don't hear the infamous voice. I did a search and didn't really find anything that helped so anyone have any ideas???

Thanks

From what I've read, the speaker signal for the Sync voice is added after the radio. You'll just need to tap the wires after that.

Gator is right for the Sony system, regular 6-CD or basic radio you can tap right behind the radio. Also, only the front speakers play the sync voice. I've also heard that some of the LOC's or self start processors won't start up the amps from the sync voice.

I have a similiar setup in that I just have the RE-Q. I noticed that when I push the Sync button, the radio and sync react, but it takes about 10 secs for the amps to kick in before I hear the voice. Once the amps are on, I experiance no problems with sync. I tapped into the front speaker wires for my RE-Q. Try turning on your unit, say on the radio and wait for everything to start working, then hit your SYNC button. If you still don't hear anything, I would suggest that maybe some connection between the radio and sync is not connected properly. If you do hear a voice, then I would say it is a timing issue between your REQ-5 and your amps turning on.

Holy Crap I am an idiot... my amp for my mids is a two channel so only one set of RCA input. When I connected the RCA from the MTX req to the amp I used the rear output on the MTX. Switched to the Front output on the MTX and magic... it works. Thanks for the help!
