easy place to mount a amp?

Where are some easy places to mount a amp w/o removing the rear seat?

I was thinking of running wire under the carpet from the floor trim, and out under the holes already cut for the seat wires, then mounting the amp under the drivers seat.

Since you mention not wanting to pull the back seat, I'm guessing you have a scab or screw. There are floor heat ducts under both front seats. So your best bet would be under the back seat on the floor.

I'm guessing he already has subs under his backseat though.

I've seen them haphazardly put under the passenger front seat in a Screws.

Not really enough room there for an amp of any size except small, you risk it bouncing around and getting kicked.

its a factory style box, but I kinda wanted to keep my jack under the small seat, along with the jumper cables.

its just going to be a little 300W though.

Ill figure something out, thanks guys.

Just just mounted a four way amp, a mono sub amp, and converter on the back of the rear seat. I just attached a 1/4" board on the back frame of the seat and the amps were attached to the board. Once the seat is folded back they are completely out of view.

I removed the jack (I have no key to unlock my spare) and placed the amp there.

x2. My Rockford P300.1 fits perfectly under my front passenger seat, no one even knows it's there unless the seat is scooted all the way forward. It's bolted to the floor so it doesn't bounce anywhere. I've had the heater and cold a/c on going through the floor duct, and the amp has yet to fail me.

Placing your amps under the rear seat is easy. It requires the relocation of your jack. I put mine in my tool box.

The seat fold without any problems...

depending on the size of the amp there are a few spots in the dash, but i imagine you dont want to pull parts of the dash if you dont want to pull a seat out

I built an amp stand to keep it off the floor and utilized the factory holes from the jack to secure it...no drilling or screwing into the floor required...If i ever want to pull it out and replace the jack, it's two bolts...It's up and out of the way enough that it won't get kicked or something spilled on it...It works for me

because I am too lazy to pull the seat.

And I know some places in the dash, but my hands free blue tooth and wiring harness as well as relay for the DVD player is taking up the space under the Cd player.

There is a small space behind the glove box, but my amp is way to big for that, and if I remember right the panel under the wheel pulls down and there is space there.

I been all over trucks like this from 99 F250's to brand new less than 1,000 miles 2010 F-150's all the way up to F-650's Chevys and dodges as well.
Even a few jeeps.

I love my job, I see lots of cars and trucks here, just the other day I had a brand new 2010 chevy LTZ come in for a install, and not long before that I had a newish peter built here for a install.

You only have to remove the back of the seat - I can take mine out of my truck in less than a minute by myself.
