running amp kit to battery?????help

running amp kit to battery?????help

is there some hole that i can run the 12V wire to the battery??

or do i have to make a hole??

its an 06 f150

Just make one large enough for 1/0 AWG to fit through and put a rubber grommet in there to prevent grounding out in that particular area. This way you'll have room for wire upgrades in the near future if you're not already using 1/0.

Dont run it into the cab at all. Run it underneath and you wont need to run anything through the cab. It will make an upgrade in the future MUCH easier too just in case. I ran my 4 gauge from the batter down the firewall down to the frame rail and then back to the rear of the cab and through a factory grommet in the floor of the cab.

MUCH easier this way

just make sure you use some kind of shielding. I dont know how many times ive seen people run just the wire through the engine bay or under the car without split loom or tech flex or whatever.

i found a rubber hole about a foot up from the pedals and then ran it across.
so far seems to work great.
