amp issues

okay yesterday i got into my truck and noticed a high pitched whine whenever the amp was one, i turned it off and the noise stopped, RCAs are not ran right next to the power and the Amp makes a crackling noise and will cut out very very often and make the subs bottom out and distort, checked all the voltage and its not my HU either, anyone else experienced a problem like this?

Sounds like a bad RCA cables or possibly a loose ground. Check those first otherwise your amp may be giving up the ghost.

unplugged the RCAs and turned the amp on and it still made the high pitched whine, and ground is fine, its been there for close to a year no problems, and i double checked all my wiring, its fine, i think my amp just may have taken a **** on me
