are your subs dual voice coil or single and what is your amp rated for 2 ohms?

I am assuming your subs are single voice coil 4 ohm each. Firs off what brand is the amp? Subs? If it is 250X2 RMS @ 4 ohm, even in stereo at 4 ohm it would push your subs nicely. IF it is a good quality amp and is a true 250 X 2 rms. Also depending on the brand and quality you might be able to bridge those two 4 ohm subs so the amp "sees" a 2 ohm bridged load. Then you would achive the most power and be over 500 rms split between each sub.
