Line Out

I have a Profile AP1040 amp and am wondering what the "Line Out" is used for? Anybody know? It may be a dumb question...

Here's a link the the manual, but it doesn't mention anywhere what it's for:

Thanks...

Its an RCA pass through. Its so you can hook two amps together without having to run two separate RCA's from the headunit

Thanks for the info Sundevil...

So if I was to install a mono amp for a sub, should I use this passthrough or run separate RCA's from the HU, or could I use either and get the same performance from the sub? Can you please look at page 14 and 15 of the installation manual and give an opinion? I already have 2 front and 2 rear comps in the doors.

Really appreciate the help...

Maybe I shouldn't be saying this to you but... GO STEELERS!!!

Sorry, but I'm a diehard Steelers fan...

If it were me personally, I would run a separate set of RCA's from the headunit. Those pass throughs are nice if you only have two sets of preouts, but if you have 3, take the time and run a separate set for your sub amp. But yes, it would work through the pass through on your 4 channel.

Haha Go Steelers all you want...I hate the cardinals. But I have one date for you...

Thanks for the advice... I kinda thought that was what I'd do, but just wanted to hear it from someone that is in the know.

So.... You're a Cowboys fan, are ya? Ouch, that hurts... ...lol

Thanks again!
