i dont think they could handle any more than what a good head unit will put out. i may be wrong but if you take one out and look at it, theres not much to em.

400 watts RMS? As in 100 watts RMS per speaker? Perhaps in some parallel universe, not this one.

lol i put 250 rms (900@1ohm 250@4) to a 6.5 rockford one time. it lasted oh about 5 minutes before it seized. but that was a mono sub amp, the speaker was already blown so i just wanted to have some fun.

No. Stock speakers are little more than glorified cardboard cones. They will shred.

I blew my factory 6x8's with a pioneer amp rated at 35 watts rms per channel.. My rear speaker were factory until I replaced them as well ... My pioneer HU almost cooked them .. So my answer would have to be NOT>>>> 100 watts rms would fry those paper so called speakers..

Haha damn near any amp will toast your factory speakers, cept for the maybe the new ford sony ones. The sony's are the only amplfied factory system speakers (bose, jbl, rockford, etc) ive seen that werent paper.
